Sincerely devoted to God’s work, Pastor Stephen R. Vaughan is the founder and faithful shepherd of Everlasting Faith Ministries (EFM) in Middletown, Connecticut.
A man known for his genuine love for people and deep concern for their spiritual well-being, Pastor Vaughan is committed to leading others into a closer walk with God. His call to ministry was recognized under the mentorship of his spiritual father, Bishop William Philpot, while serving at Christ Chapel. There, he humbly filled many roles, always ready to serve wherever he was needed.
In 1996, Pastor Vaughan was ordained by Bishop Hester D. Bordeaux, Emeritus, and went on to serve as an associate minister at Macedonia Church of God in Christ in New Haven. Not long after, he was led to begin pastoring a congregation in Middletown, where his heart for ministry and outreach truly took root.
Before founding EFM, Pastor Vaughan spent over 15 years ministering in adult prisons and convalescent homes and was instrumental in launching the largest juvenile prison ministry in the state of Connecticut. That passion continues today, with EFM teams actively serving in transitional facilities.
Pastor Vaughan pursued studies in psychology, theology, and counseling at Barrington College in Rhode Island. Alongside his pastoral calling, he is also a seasoned financial professional, currently serving as a Vice President in commercial banking.
Everlasting Faith Ministries recently celebrated 29 years of impactful ministry—a testament to Pastor Vaughan’s unwavering leadership and God’s faithfulness. EFM remains a close-knit, loving church family, guided by a dynamic pastor who boldly preaches and teaches the uncompromised Word of God.
Pastor Vaughan lives in Middletown with his beloved wife of 29 years, Adrienne.
